Dreaming of Spring Wine Tasting

Notes From the Cellar…..

As we head into the Final Four of March Madness and Opening Day for the Sox be sure to stock up on the necessary provisions! We've got you covered with an array of craft beer selections as well as our unique, locally made spirits. In addition to libations that are great for game day, this weekend we will be pouring a soft & supple Pinot Noir from the Givry region of Burgundy.
’15 Domaine Parize Givry Rouge Vieilles Vignes, Burgundy, FR- The Parize family have been making wine in Burgundy for six generations. The estate started to bottle in 1975, and from one hundred bottles a year, it now bottles over 4,000 cases. Awards and critical acclaim have followed the qualitative progression of the wine. The average age of the vines is now thirty years. Organic fertilizers have been used for some years, and organic practices are embraced. Yields are limited by extreme pruning & hand harvesting. While their oak aged 1er Cru wines can age for up to 12 years, the Vieilles Vignes drink better young. Showing red raspberry and red cherry fruits and violets on the nose, it is soft and round on the palate with soft tannins and fresh acidity. $22.99
We still have a few bottles of Cakebread Chardonnay, Jordan & Duckhorn Cabernet Sauvignon on sale for 20% off! (While supplies last; does not combine with any other discount)
On the beer front we have a new delivery of Bunker Brewing, Aeuronaut, Single Cut and Night Shift! New Morph, One Hop and we were able to score 1 case of the Bennington Stout just released!
