IMG 3491

Notes From the Cellar…..

Summer is off to a beautiful start and the wines we have selected are all well suited to hot days and warm nights. Whether you're on the beach, enjoying a day out on the boat or entertaining on the deck, our offerings will complement any activity. This weekend we are featuring an organic, quenching rosé from Provence, a tasty white blend from Piedmont and a delicious, easy drinking red from Portugal! All offer tremendous value and are versatile wines for easy enjoyment and pairing with food.
We are stocking up for the upcoming 4th of July weekend with lots of new beer & wine and don’t forget about our wide range of gourmet cheeses, charcuterie and other goodies for an afternoon on the beach or snacks before dinner!
Monday, July 4th we will be open at 9:00 am for any needs before the parade and your celebrations!
This weekend’s wines:
’15 Château de Roquefort Corail Rosé, Côtes de Provence, FR- Classic Provence rosé and consistently great quality; fresh with bright berry and melon fruit while maintaining excellent acidity and minerality on the palate.
’15 Paolo Scavino Bianco Sorriso, Piedmont, IT- Another great Piedmont table blend from one of Barolo’s most prolific winemakers. A medium bodied blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Viognier fermented in stainless steel. Wonderful aromatics and fruit profile while remaining crisp and balanced.
’14 Ribeiro Santo Pinha, Dão, PT- From a Portuguese Winemaker of the Year, Carlos Lucas, comes this medium bodied blend from the Dão bursting with red berry fruit, balancing acidity and a dry, even finish.
As always take 10% off any 3 wines we are tasting.
On the beer front we have newer arrivals from Long Trail, SixPoint, Boulevard, Cisco, Firestone Walker & Two Roads!
New Hours- Open until 8:00 Tuesday- Saturday. 12:00-5:00 Sundays.
Cheers!
